Family Life
I grew up in Auckland. My grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins, all lived south of the Bombays. Every year would bring an annual pilgrimage to visit them. Christmas in Wellington with my fathers family, followed by New Year in Taranaki with my mothers family. Next year the order would reverse. Let me introduce my family.
VaoESea and I
We were married in November 2016 after a long courtship. People have hinted to me that maybe the courtship was too long, but they are misinformed.
We had a large wedding with 250+ friends and family celebrating together on a perfect day. We were honoured by their support with many guests travelling long distances to attend.
I've got tonnes of photos. I can bore you with them.
Mum, Dad & my brothers and sisters.
I have two brothers and two sisters. My dad said I could use this photo because he looks young. As you can tell, it was taken last century. That's me at the top left.
My Whanau
Last year, we had a family reunion for descendants of my paternal grandmother, Uru Raupo Wall (nee Cameron - anglicised Kamareira), and those of her brothers and sisters. I whakapapa to Te Rarawa and Te Aupouri.
The photo shows some of my grandmothers descendants. Not everybody could attend.
That's me at the back in the black t-shirt. Click on the photo to see a bigger version.
